Today we learned a very important Bible story: God told Joshua to take the city of Jericho. But they weren't going to fight with swords; God had a very different plan! He asked them to walk around the city once a day for six days, and on the seventh day to do it seven times. At the end, everyone was to shout at the top of their lungs. Joshua and the people obeyed, even though it seemed like a strange plan.
With faith and without complaint, they walked each day as God had told them. And on the seventh day, when they shouted with all their might... the walls of Jericho fell!
God teaches us that when we trust Him and do what He tells us, even if we don't understand everything, He can do amazing things! Just as He broke down those walls, He can also help us with our fears, sadness, or problems. We just need faith and obedience.
We would especially like to thank those who lovingly shared a delicious snack of rice pudding and cookies. The children enjoyed it with great joy, and it was a moment filled with smiles and gratitude.
