The Armor of God is very important for children because it teaches us how to protect ourselves spiritually every day. In Ephesians 6:10-18, the Bible tells us about a special armor, not like that of soldiers, but a spiritual armor that God gives us to defend ourselves from evil.
Today our children learned that each piece of this armor has a purpose: the belt of truth reminds us to always tell the truth; the breastplate of righteousness protects us when we do what is right; the shoes of the gospel help us share Jesus' love with others; the shield of faith defends us against lies and fears; the helmet of salvation protects our minds and reminds us that we are children of God; and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, helps us fight wisely.
Queremos dar gracias a Dios con todo nuestro corazón, porque Él siempre cuida de nosotros y nos bendice con su amor. Hoy fue un día especial para nuestros niños, porque disfrutaron de un delicioso sándwich lleno de sabor y alegría.
